With wonderful sea views from every window and only a few paces from the quayside, this grade II listed, fishermans net loft has been newly renovated and double-glazed to offer a light and comfortable cottage overlooking the bustling harbour in Mevagissey. The accommodation is on the top two floors of a three storey, early nineteenth century building with a seasonal craft shop beneath, and is entered directly from the cobbled street. The front door and a wooden flight of stairs lead straight up to a charming beamed sitting room with open studwork on one wall and a three piece suite facing a birds eye view of the harbour.

To one side, a glazed door and two steps lead down to a bright kitchen with maple effect fitted units and a dining suite next to a low sash window with stunning views of the fishing boats in the inner harbour.

From the sitting room, a carpeted staircase leads up to the second floor landing where there are a shower room W.C. with hand basin and two cosy bedrooms with some of the original exposed beams. There is a twin bedded room with great views across the harbour towards the lighthouse and a double bedroom with an en-suite W.C. and hand basin, and marvellous views overlooking the harbour and beyond to the sea.

All the amenities of this working fishing village are close at hand including pubs, shops and restaurants, and there are boat trips and a summer ferry service to Fowey departing from the quay.

There are varied walks in the surrounding countryside and along the coastal footpath which leads to the cove at Portmellon about 1 mile to the south, and beyond to the sandy beach at Gorran Haven. St Austell, 5 miles, has a leisure centre with swimming pool and a main line railway station that connects with local buses. There are also several gardens close by including the famous Lost Gardens of Heligan, Eden Project and Trewithen.
